Founder John Eise got his start in 1991, co-founding Engineered Plumbing Systems, a company focused on large custom residential homes. The work demanded precision, problem-solving, and a high standard of finish. But John saw a bigger opportunity in the commercial market — and in 1996, he set out on his own and founded Legacy Plumbing, Inc.
Since then, Legacy has grown into a trusted commercial plumbing contractor serving the greater St. Louis region. John brought the same attention to detail that defined his custom-home roots into every commercial project, earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and getting the job done right.
That reputation is backed by credentials. John holds master plumbing licenses across St. Charles County, the City of St. Charles, the City of St. Louis, Jefferson County, and numerous municipalities throughout the St. Louis area, along with a master drainlayer and mechanical license in St. Louis County — giving Legacy the licensed reach to serve clients across the metro.
In May 2025, Legacy Plumbing joined the Kuesel family of companies.
